F2F New Media Art From Finland (2000-2003)
F2F was a groundbreaking media art exhibition presenting interactive artworks by leading Finnish media artists. F2F toured in North America in Los Angeles, Washington DC, Toronto, Montreal and New York, receiving enthusiastic responses from press/media and audiences. The exhibition completed its tour in Brussels in fall 2003. The exhibition was accompanied by a catalog providing critical reflections on the state of contemporary media art by internationally recognized experts in the field as well as the first comprehensive English language review of leading Finnish media artists.

Paper + Finland = Art (1998 -2001)
Paper + Finland = Art presented paper art installations by 18 Finnish artists. The exhibition was organized by the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York in 1998 in collaboration with the American Crafts Museum. After its initial success in New York, the exhibition toured extensively in North American museums and galleries over a four year period. The exhibition was accompanied by a catalog.
Architecture in Between (1998)
Architecture in Between exhibition presented a selection of prize-winning projects from recent architecture competitions in Finland. It highlighted the unique tradition of architecture competitions in Finland and was accompanied by a catalog reflecting on the special characteristics of this tradition. Architecture in between was first presented in New York at the Architectural League and then toured extensively in North America.
Alvar Aalto Viipuri Library (1996-1998)
Viipuri Library exhibition was organized to promote the restoration of this early masterpiece of Aalto in Viipuri, Russia. The exhibition toured in the United States from 1996 to 1998 continuing its tour thereafter in Europe and in Japan.
Kain Tapper (1995)
Tombs in Wood exhibition presented Tapper's large scale sculptures to American audiences in New York, Chicago and Washington DC. |
